First skein

And, my first skein is complete and labelled! 😃

Today I went to Natural Yarns and bought myself a portable (small and can be disassembled) niddy noddy made by Stellar Fibre Works . I also bought some more undyed Merino batt to start a new spin - but more on that at another time. 🐏

I must say, it was quite a process for my novice hands to take the yarn off the drop spindle and onto the niddy noddy and then again to get it off the niddy noddy, without having the yarn loose its twist! The twist takes some time to set. Being a noob 🙈 I forgot to first measure the wraps per inch, which gives you a better idea of the yarn classification, but oh well. I did, however, spin approximately 6 meters out of the 3 rolags that I used. Very impressed with myself. 🧶
