Welcome to the first Sew Rogue unboxing, because who doesn’t love novelty sewing items?!
I was extremely excited to find these Hiroshima needles + pins in a local store, as in South Africa, we sometimes struggle to find kawaii (Japanese for cute) or interesting sewing notions.
GLASS-HEAD PINS
There are 4 glass-head colours to choose from:
Aosora (blue sky): blue + light blue pin heads (featured)
Sakura (cherry blossom): pink + green pin heads
Shizuku (drops of dew): multi coloured selection of black, white, red, yellow, + light blue pin heads
Akari (lights): red + purple pin heads
SASHIKO NEEDLES
4 Hiroshima Sashiko needle selections are available:
Assortment of 6 long sashiko needles (featured)
Assortment of 6 short sashiko needles
4 thick sashiko needles
4 thin sashiko needles
Tulip further produces various other types of needles as well, that can be used for hand sewing, embroidery, quilting, and even millinery.
Check Tulip out if you would like to know more.
Also, if you live in South Africa and you're wondering where I got these extraordinary products, I found mine at Natural Yarns, located in Kommetjie, Cape Town.
